| U.S. Air Force Awards Contract to Handheld Systems for Husky FS/2's
 September 11, 2000 – Handheld
Systems, Inc., a leading provider of rugged handheld computer and support
services, announced today a major new contract to supply Husky FS/2 field
computers and related accessories to the U.S. Air Force.
The Husky FS/2 has many desirable features
placing it at the forefront of rugged handheld computer devices and making
it the ideal field solution for the U.S. Air Force. In addition to
offering first class data security, the Husky FS/2's magnesium
alloy construction provides an exceptionally lightweight, rugged housing
with the strength to withstand the roughest handling and weather
conditions. It is fully sealed and
rigorously tested to military standards against shock, immersion, extreme
temperature ranges and survival of a four foot drop onto concrete.

The Air Force plans to deploy the new Husky
FS/2's throughout bases across the world for uploading and downloading
critical jet engine control data. This data provides the basis for
generating accurate and detailed reports for its fleet of aircraft.
