There are some minor differences detailed in Technical Note 531. If you do experience any
problems contact your software provider.
|
 |
Q. My
FS/3 does not get a full working day from a set of fully charged batteries. |

supplier to make sure they are using all the FS/3 BIOS power saving functions.

A. If the FS/3 has a rechargable

hour; otherwise fit a set of new size AA alkaline batteries.
To reset the unit hold
down the two shift keys and the power key for 5 seconds before releasing all three keys.
The unit will then run but will
need to be left on charge or with good batteries fitted for at least 24 hours for the
internal backup battery to recharge.

FS/3? |
A. FS/3's fitted with a
single 25 pin D-type serial port or 1 or 2 12 pin circular serial ports can supply 5V at

NOTE: FS/3's
fitted with 9 pin D-type connectors cannot supply power from the RS232 port.

|
 |
Q. What
PCMCIA cards can I use with the FS/3 PCMCIA slot? |
